Equal Love exists to serve the LGBTIQ+ community and all people seeking authentic connection. Discrimination of any kind is fundamentally incompatible with our platform.

• Sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression
• Race, ethnicity, or national origin
• Religion or belief
• Disability, neurodivergence, or health status
• Age, body type, or physical appearance
• HIV status or serostatus
• Immigration or citizenship status

You agree not to discriminate against, harass, or demean any person based on:

Violations of this commitment will result in immediate account suspension and may lead to permanent removal from the platform. We actively enforce this policy.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Equal Love.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You may only create one account per person.
• You must not have been previously banned from the platform for violations of these terms.

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

When using Equal Love, you agree to:

• Treat all users with respect and dignity.
• Honour other people's pronouns and identity.
• Obtain clear consent before any interaction.
• Respect other users' boundaries and privacy.
• Report any behaviour that violates these terms or our Community Guidelines.

The following are strictly prohibited on Equal Love:

• Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation of any kind.
• Hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language.
• Sharing another person's private information without their consent (doxxing).
• Sending unsolicited sexual content or explicit material.
• Impersonating another person or creating fake profiles.
• Scamming, phishing, or any fraudulent activity.
• Using the platform for commercial purposes, advertising, or solicitation.
• Attempting to circumvent security measures or exploit vulnerabilities.
• Outing or disclosing another user's sexual orientation, gender identity, or HIV status.
• Any illegal activity.

• You retain ownership of content you post on Equal Love (photos, text, etc.).
• By posting content, you grant us a limited licence to display it as part of the service.
• You must have the right to share any content you upload.
• We may remove content that violates these terms or our Community Guidelines.
• Content depicting minors, non-consensual acts, or illegal material is strictly prohibited and will be reported to authorities.

• Equal Love offers both free and paid features.
• Credits and premium features are purchased in advance and are non-refundable unless required by law.
• Prices are displayed including applicable VAT.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
• EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for purchases, except where services have been fully performed with your prior consent.

• We provide tools to block and report users who violate these terms.
• We review all reports and take appropriate action, which may include warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans.
• We cooperate with law enforcement when required or when we believe someone's safety is at risk.

• Equal Love is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, except as required by law.
• We do not guarantee matches, compatibility, or outcomes from using the platform.
• We are not responsible for the behaviour of other users, either on or off the platform.
• Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
• Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

• You may stop using Equal Love and delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
• In cases of severe violations (such as harassment or hate speech), we may terminate your account immediately without notice.
• Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Haarlem, the Netherlands. If you are a consumer in the EU, you retain the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence, and you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of Equal Love after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
